Oklahoma City Public Schools officials said Thursday will be a snow day, and students do not need to log in or complete any work from home. All OKCPS school buildings and administrative offices will be closed, and only district-level staff will work remotely.
Edmond Public Schools officials also said Thursday will be a non-instructional day.
"Remote learning is ideal when it is short-term. However, a third day of remote instruction is not only taxing on those participating in it but is less valuable instructionally. That is why today is a non-instructional day," Edmond Public Schools Superintendent Angela Grunewald said in a letter to parents.
Mustang Public Schools also will have a snow day on Thursday. The Bronco Club will not be offered, and Community Education classes will be canceled. The district also won't be able to offer meal service at any of its sites.
